Our Team

The Founder and Executive Director of SafeWorld Empowerment & Development Initiative (SWEDIWorld), a women-led nonprofit advancing gender equality, education, health and climate resilience beginning with Nigeria's middle belt and beyond. Under her leadership , SWEDIWorld has launched the SWEDI care programme, providing dignity kits and education to school girls, support's women farmers with climate-smart agricultural initiatives.She also supports several other women and girls initiatives contributing to the wider advocacy for gender equity ,education and sustainable livelihoods. She has engaged in global spaces representing grassroots voices at international forums such as Conference of Parties (COP) to the United Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Arms Trade Treaty Conference of States Parties (ATT CSP) ensuring that the perspectives of women and girls in underserved communities are included in global policy dialogues . Additionally contributing actively to the Gender Action Plan (GAP) under the UNFCCC and participating in several other international working groups focused on gender ,environment ,and inclusive development . Sewuese is committed to empowering underserved communities and bridging the grassroots realities with international advocacy for sustainable development .
