Safeworld Empowerment & Development Initiative (SWEDIWorld) is pleased to announce the opening of a new regional office in Makurdi, Benue State.

The development follows the recent CSO-Benue Assessment and Evaluation, which underscored the importance of expanding the organisation’s presence to strengthen partnerships and deepen community engagement.

What the Makurdi office will do

  • Advance programmes in gender equality, education, health and environmental sustainability.
  • Build stronger collaborations with stakeholders across Benue State.
  • Improve SWEDIWorld’s visibility and responsiveness to the needs of communities.

The milestone is a significant step in SWEDIWorld’s growth and positions the organisation to deliver greater impact in Benue and beyond.
