SWEDIWorld was represented by its Executive Director, Sewuese Asa, at the Africa Young Speakers Forum Summit on 28 November 2025, held under the theme “Your Voice, Your Power” at the Federal Ministry of Education Conference Hall, Abuja.

Speaking during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, she contributed to discussions on ending violence against women and girls and stressed that it is critical to elevate the young voices that drive change and promote accountability.

The summit brought together speakers, trainers and young leaders from across the country, and fed directly into SWEDIWorld’s own 16 Days programme with adolescent girls in Abuja.
